The project started January 2022 and through out that time we have researched, talked to artist, spoke to many travelers, (done a lot of talking), visited other art trails, developed a strategy, sought funding, secured partnerships, developed a platform, joined the social media world and are working with the Gladstone Region to obtain details of public art to put on the map. Early December 2022 we launched the website with a project in Calliope QLD, Taragoola trees.
The aim is to develop a partnership between Local Governments, Tourism
bodies, Artist and Communities to foster one platform that is easy for tourists and locals to find Arts and Culture across many regions.
By joining and building partnerships it will identify and discover Arts and
Cultural opportunities while working together to leverage a larger and more sustainable collection. Instead of reinventing the wheel each time a group wants to promote a cool art trail in their region, we have built a product that allows them to have their own subdomain where we do all of the hard work for you, but you are in control. We can tailor it to everyones needs.
We are also working on an Australian wide Artist Directory to help professional artists and commissioners of artwork.
We look forward to working with all regions to elevate Arts and Culture in Australia.
